These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Create Balance Bookkeeping website and the services offered through it. By using this site, you agree to these Terms.

Services

Create Balance Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping services for small businesses, including QuickBooks file set-up, monthly reconciliations, catch-up and clean-up work, and financial reporting. The scope, fees, and timeline of any engagement are agreed in writing before work begins.

Not professional financial or legal advice

Content on this website is provided for general information only. It is not accounting, tax, legal, or investment advice, and it does not create a client relationship. Bookkeeping services are not a substitute for the advice of a certified public accountant, tax professional, or attorney.

Client responsibilities

Accurate bookkeeping depends on accurate information. Clients are responsible for providing complete, truthful records and for reviewing reports they receive. Final responsibility for filings, tax positions, and business decisions rests with the client and their tax professional.

Payment

Fees are set out in each client engagement. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Work may be paused on accounts with overdue balances.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and imagery on this site belong to Create Balance Bookkeeping and may not be reproduced without permission. Client records always remain the property of the client.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Create Balance Bookkeeping is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or from services provided, beyond the amount paid for the services in question.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
